Since the beginning of January, all of the Hillary Group bars except their flagship venue Hillary 1 have been closed due to government restrictions on entertainment venues and bars.

The week the newest bar to the ever-extending Hillary empire Hillary 11 reopened after taking some time off in light of CCSA rules and regulations to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Hillary 11 opened at the beginning of December to much fanfare but has yet to really get off the ground due to so few tourists, the festive holiday period that was quickly followed by the government banning the sale of booze and no live music in bars.

The bar is now open daily from 2 pm – 9 pm for food, with 20% off all menu items, and non-alcoholic drinks.

With everything closing at 9pm and entertainment as we knew it still on the banned list, there’s not really that much to be doing of an evening lately.

So the return of the quiz night at O’Shea’s Irish Pub on Sukhumvit Soi 33/1 might be worth a shot for something to get you out the house this Thursday.

As you’d expect, it kicks off early – 6.30pm – and runs through until 8.30pm which is a straight to the pub from work affair, right?

Grab some dinner and maybe even win a couple of quid if you stay off the coffee.
