Hillary 11 Is Open Again
Since the beginning of January, all of the Hillary Group bars except their flagship venue Hillary 1 have been closed due to government restrictions on entertainment venues and bars.
The week the newest bar to the ever-extending Hillary empire Hillary 11 reopened after taking some time off in light of CCSA rules and regulations to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Hillary 11 opened at the beginning of December to much fanfare but has yet to really get off the ground due to so few tourists, the festive holiday period that was quickly followed by the government banning the sale of booze and no live music in bars.
The bar is now open daily from 2 pm – 9 pm for food, with 20% off all menu items, and non-alcoholic drinks.
Catch Round 3 of the Guinness Six Nations this weekend live at PJ O’Brien’s as Ireland travel to Rome to take on Italy while later on Saturday unbeaten Wales will host defending champions England in Cardiff.
The Round 3 clash between France and Scotland has been postponed from its original date of Sunday, February 28th.

France have won their first two games in the 2021 Guinness Six Nations and currently top the table, while Scotland were beaten at home by Wales in Round 2 after their opening victory away to champions England.
Oskar Bistro on Sukhumvit Soi 11 returned this week much to the delight of its regulars.
The kitchens will be churning out the delicious dishes you’ve been missing. Go hungry, and leave happy!

It was good to see the owners of Dragon Bar in Patpong used the downtime to spruce the place up – it was badly needing it.
Dragon Bar on Patpong Soi 2 isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I like to stop by now and again for a few cold ones as it is cheap and hassle free.
Out with the big bar taking up most of the space and in with a new smaller one over by the renovated toilet making enough space for a pool table.
The refurb looks alright… it was just a pity there was no staff to serve me a beer so it was off to Midnight next door.
