Nana Beer Garden Anniversary Party
The group of bars in the middle of the ground floor at Nana Plaza are apparently known as the Nana Beer Garden and seeing as they are having an anniversary party I’m sure it’s a safe bet that it was a year ago that they got a major revamp and overhaul.
There’s 80 baht bottles of Chang for those who print the flyer above and a Battles Of The Sexes pool tournament has been organised and starts tonight at 7pm. It costs 500 baht per team to take part with the winners picking up 5,000 baht, 2nd place pocket 3,000 baht and 1,000 baht goes to 3rd and 4th place.
Pop along, have a cheap Chang and see what’s going on. It’s not like you’ve got a busy schedule, is it?

O’Shea’s Are Open Again
O’Shea’s Irish Pub on Sukhumvit 33/1 are open for food and non-alcoholic drinks once again daily from 9am to 9pm.
While no booze might not be ideal, it gets you out the house for a bit as there is nothing worse than being caged up all day and night plus there’s always something to see on the soi too.
If you are thinking no beer, no point that’s okay, you can order from the food menu for delivery through their Facebook page, by phone (095 795 1841), LINE and LINEMAN so you can pop a few tinnies at home while you feast on some grub.
Home delivery available daily from 9am to 9pm.

Soi 22 Blast from The Past
Here’s a walk down Sukhumvit Soi 22 memory lane for some who might remember Ray’s place Twenty Two Bar.
It relocated here from Sukhumvit Road and was a popular hangout for Scots in Bangkok.
I remember sinking a shandy or two here with my old mate TommyTrueBlue back in the day.
Good times.

Above Eleven Closed Until Further Notice
With fewer and fewer people out and about plus more and more restrictions at national and provincial levels coming into effect, notices from businesses taking the decision to temporarily close just keep on coming thick and fast.
The latest place to take this tough decision is Above Eleven who published the following statement today.
Dear Above Eleven Guests,
We have made the difficult decision to temporarily close Above Eleven until further notice.
As the COVID-19 situation heightens, we believe this decision is in the best interest of our staff, guests, and the public at large. It truly saddens us that we’re unable to serve you at our venue and we cannot wait to invite you back to Above Eleven soon.
In the meantime, we hope you and your family stay safe! 💚
Take care,
Above Eleven Team
Hopefully, Above Eleven and everyone else choosing to close at this stage will be back before we know it.
