Having set itself apart from the copycat English and Irish pubs in Bangkok, The Kiwi Sports Pub & Grill will celebrate the first anniversary of its “new” location off Sukhumvit Soi 8 with a musical barbecue party June 27.
Thousands of foreign expats and Thais alike called The Kiwi on Soi 8 their home for years. In June 2018, the pub moved just a short distance down the road to Soi Preeda, the first sidestreet coming from Sukhumvit Road. While the location changed, the great service, food, drink and sport did not and the “new Kiwi” is even more popular and better reviewed than before.
While The Kiwi is famous for being a bit more laid back than other sports pubs, it will be buzzing for the Thursday night birthday party. Everyone is invited to enjoy a free barbecue, Happy Hour drink prices all night and live music from acoustic guitarist SNOW.
The Kiwi Sports Pub & Grill may be Bangkok’s Home of Rugby and Ground Zero for All Blacks fans, but the pub’s big screens show a wide range of sports in a family-friendly environment more conducive to chomping a burger that getting in a scrum. The Kiwi’s second floor, complete with a pool table and dart board, is also a great place to host your next party.
Join your friends and the friendly staff to celebrate the first year of the “new Kiwi” and many more to come.
