Old German Beerhouse 1986

For 34 years, The Old German Beerhouse has been serving top-quality German food to customers in Bangkok.

In the beginning … “German Beer House” pub and restaurant first opened its doors back in 1986.

Originally, it was situated in an open-air garden located on Sukhumvit Soi 23 where it was famous for their Friday evening roast pig, cooked on a hand-turned spit at the entrance to the restaurant.

Then in 2004, they moved to Sukhumvit Soi 11… more on that later but for now, here’s a dozen photos from the original The >Old German Beerhouse.
