Over the years a few players have tried and failed to recreate the taste of Nando’s here in Thailand – some were okay others were just dreadful in their attempt at the Peri-Peri taste we all know and love from our homelands.
Stepping into the ring this week is Fernandos, which is brought to us by the team behind Golden Bowl Western Chinese and Smith’s Fish & Chips, raising an eyebrow and giving some hope that at long last a company with a history of bringing Bangkok the best of the west and most importantly, doing it right, are up for the challenge.
Their menu, as you would expect, is just like Nando’s.
Dine-in is in the works and once the location and details are finalised, I’ll be sure to let you know.
In the meantime, if you place an order to try out Fernandos, don’t forget to tag >@StickFoodie when you share your pics on social media.

Is Air Fried Food Really Healthier?
Up to 90% less fat. That’s just one of the claims of air fryer manufacturers. We’ve bought so much into this idea of a healthier way of cooking, that the air fryer market is expected to reach US$1.2b by 2026.
But how much healthier is air frying, compared to deep frying, really? Talking Point host Sharda Harrison conducts her own tests in search of answers.
