New Chef’s Specials The Latest Upgrade At The Kiwi
Since moving a couple months ago to its new location just off Soi 8 near Sukhumvit Road, The Kiwi has been making steady enhancements and improvements to Bangkok’s “Home of Rugby” even better than it was.
After bringing on Liam, an enthusiastic, young manager, in late May, the New Zealand-themed pub has brought back its popular Golf Tuesdays and, this week, enhanced its already well-reviewed menu.
The four new Chef’s Specials – New Zealand T-Bone, Chef’s Pasta, Chef’s Salad and a Fish Burger – includes all the fixings and a very affordable price, with everything but the steak costing under 400 baht.
The Kiwi has always been a popular hangout for expats. The New Zealand Society is using the pub as its base for watching the All Blacks on Aug. 25 and a local chess club also will be using its first-floor party area.
But it also is becoming well-known among tourists as well, especially those from Australia and New Zealand, due in large part to its strong reputation as the place to watch live Rugby and a menu that gets 5-star reviews on Google and TripAdvisor.
With daily specials, including a free BBQ on Tuesdays, The Kiwi is one to give a try if you haven’t already.
