After five years of serving up the best New Zealand fish & chips in Bangkok, Snapper on Soi 11 have announced via their Facebook page they will be closing permanently from 10th September.

We are deeply grateful for all of our family, friends, staff and patrons – your enthusiasm and support is what made Snapper. As many of you will already know we were due to close our doors in March 2017, along with the neighboring businesses, due to the property we are all in being knocked down for a large residential development.

However due to the current political situation, the changing face of Sukhumvit 11 tourism and a slower than expected low season we have decided to exit early. Rather than wait to the bitter end we have decided to focus our energies instead on the positive, being Kai New Zealand (our latest restaurant in Sathorn) and some new F&B ventures.

We have not ruled out opening another Snapper in the near future and of course Kai NZ will continue to serve you the best NZ fish & chips along with a wide range of New Zealand beef, lamb, wine & craft beer in the meantime.

Where will fish and chip fans head now for a taste of home around the Sukhumvit strip?
