Just a quick shoutout to the team at Annie’s Frozen Food who kindly sent over some mince pies for the family to enjoy on Christmas day.

It was a very kind gesture and thoughtful. Thank you very much.

As for the mince pies, me and the kids wiped them out after dinner with not a crumb left on any of the three plates.

Yes, of course Fatboy ate two, what else did you think was gonna happen with 4 pies and only 3 mouths?

PJ O’Brien’s, the Irish bar under Prakanong BTS station, is open again from today, Friday 15th January, from 10am for breakfast.

They’ll stay open for lunch and dinner too through until 9pm for anyone who fancies a decent feed without having to do the washing up.

All the usual goodies are back on the menu including:

Irish Chicken Parmigiana, crispy Fried Chicken Breast smothered in Golden Bowls Curry Sauce, served with French Fries, THB 295
Build your own breakfast, any 7 items THB 149
Choose from: Eggs x 2 any style, back bacon, streaky bacon (2pcs.), sausage, ham, black pudding, white pudding, mushroom, baked beans, hash brown, French fries, sauteed potato, tomato, Irish soda farl, Irish potato bread, toast, coffee, tea, orange juice
Fillet Mignon, cooked to your liking, served with a choice of Mashed Potatoes or Chips, Sautéed Vegetables, French Fried Onions, plus a side of Pepper Sauce. THB 395
