Geisha, Bangkok’s newest go-go bar, opened its doors for the first time on Tuesday night although that decision was jumping the gun and a few more days, or even a week, might have been a better call by the owner.
There were just too many things needing finished such as the walkway to the bathrooms and the back wall behind the stage.
Also making sure you’d shook the hand of the right people would have prevented an interruption to service at midnight when the lights went up and the music off as the bar was told to shut it down.
20 minutes later all was sorted except the crowd who’d been in had all left and the dancing dollybirds nowhere to be seen.
I’m sure when the work is actually finished and all the right people taken care of the bar will be a great new addition to Nana Plaza and the Bangkok nightlife scene in general but I’d give it a few days before venturing in while they iron out the kinks.
