The Lollipop Beer Bonanza Now On Offer Every Day

Published

on

Following on from the success of the beer bonanza each Saturday at Lollipop in Nana Plaza where you could drink ice cold beers for FIVE HOURS for just 499 baht, is now available EVERY single day of the week.

Each day will feature a couple of beers on rotation so everyone gets their favourite for plenty of cheapness.

Starting on Friday 20th September, it will be all you can drink Hanoi and Singha on the menu and the price remains the same – 499 baht.

There’s no small print, no catch, no bs. Just a Bangkok beer bargain.

Let the cold ones commence at 3pm all the way through until 8pm.

Introducing Nana Plaza’s Newest Bar… Random

Random Bar Nana Plaza

Every week there’s something going on at Nana Plaza more so now with the takeover of 7 or 8 bars during the shutdown when some of the former tenants decided it was time for retirement or something different after years in the bar business.

Rainbow 3 on the middle floor was one of the locations that became available part and parcel with the small neighbouring bar Chilli.

The team behind Straps made their move and signed on the dotted line to take over the lease for both bars and set about transforming it into something new, well, the outside so far at least.

Bar owners come up with some strange names and for the big unveiling, let me introduce to you Random.

Random Bar Nana Plaza

Now to put my cards on the table, when I clicked the two pics here I was in a hurry and didn’t have time to stick my head inside to see what changes, if any, had been made as word from was Rainbow 3 and Chilli would become one bigger bar.

All girls too, no ladyboys or any other funny business in this new venue before anyone gets any ideas as Chilli was all ladyboys and so is Straps.

But wait, there’s more to this bar evolution taking place at The Plaza as I noticed Straps looked closed, their sign was down and everything was painted black on the outside.

Detective Stick did make enquiries into what was going on but nothing bounced back so I will need to get off my butt and go see for myself sometime over the weekend what’s going on at Random.

Patpong Bars Open During The Shudown Now Closed

patpong bars open and closed

During the shutdown when bars and clubs had been ordered closed, several venues in Patpong were open and selling beer most days.

Top Less Pool Bar on Patpong Soi 2 was one of the less discrete bars that opened for those who wanted a couple of drinks during the day.

Oddly, a few of those who flouted the closure order are now in the dark despite the restrictions being lifted and many around them now back to life.

Did authorities drop the ban hammer on them or have they just temporarily pulled the plug due to business being so slow?

UPDATE: Apparently, they have moved across the street.

100 baht drinks lighthouse soi cowboy

As bars and clubs come back to life owners seem to be constantly working on their special offers trying to entice those living here in Bangkok into their bars with promos, specials and all the Happy Hours they can muster.

Lighthouse on Soi Cowboy already dropped their prices when they reopened a couple of weeks ago and now they have taken the plunge reviving the Wednesday night Booze Buffet.

For those who have been living under a rock for the past few years that don’t know what the Booze Buffet is then the poster at the top of the page should have been your starter for 10.

On a Wednesday night at Lighthouse, all drinks are 100 baht all night.

1 drink, 1 red note. As simple as that.

Expect the usual suspects and a few more to be in attendance usually from 9pm onward.
