Voodoo Makes A Nana Plaza Comeback

Published on 19th July 2019 by Stickboy BKK

Voodoo on the ground floor of Nana Plaza was the bar author Steve Leather based the fictional go-go bar Zombie on in the Private Dancer book.

The bar went on to become the short-lived Underground that was taken over by The Dutchman when he purchased Spellbound who knocked both into the mega-bar that was Bangkok Bunnies.

What was Bangkok Bunnies became Twister BKK back in October 2018 and to be fair, it has struggled due to the sheer size of the place. It is just too big.

Voodoo Makes A Nana Plaza Comeback

The owners recognising this have decided to revive Voodoo and split the huge venue back into two bars.

As always, the Plaza is drowning in rumours why this has happened but who cares what is doing the rounds. Voodoo has made a comeback and that’s it.

The question everyone should be asking who or what will be taking to the stage? Ladies, ladyboys, post-op ladyboys, coyotes… or a mix of everything.

When I find out the answer I will be sure to let you know or if you pop in before I do, please let me know.
