After the sellout 4th of July show, comedy is back at The Clubhouse this time with an all Aussie comedy showcase on Thursday 25th July.
Headliner Brian Freeman has been performing comedy for six years, emerging as a comedic talent in 2013 becoming a Raw Comedy state finalist a couple of months later.
Since then Brian has become a fixture in the Queensland and Australian comedy circuits and is a regular at the Sitdown Comedy Club (The biggest comedy promotion company in Australia). He was selected to be a support act for Heath Franklin’s “Chopper”. See him live in Bangkok as part of his first Asia comedy tour.
Brian will be joined by special guests including fellow Australian Matt Wharf (host) & feature act Keith Cheng.
Matt Wharf is a comedy veteran of 11 years, has headlined every major club in Thailand and performed all over Australia and South East Asia, including two runs at The Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Matt is a two time finalist in The Magners Comedy Competition and has opened for big names including KVon, Tom Rhodes, Phil Kay, Craig Campbell & Greg Fleet. Matt recently represented Australia in the ‘Your Hoods a Joke’ International Roast Battle where he was a hit squaring off against Ireland’s Kevin Gildea (Father Ted)
Keith Cheng was a Triple J RAW Comedy Competition QLD State Finalist in 2012 and Runner-Up in 2013. His comedy shows the audience Australia through the eyes of an international-student-turned-naturalised-Australian citizen. Keith is a regular around the Brisbane & Gold Coast busy stand up circuit.
This will be a great night of laughs at Bangkok’s newest comedy venue.
