Golden Axe Is Back At W District

After a brief hiatus due to Artbox Market’s failure to remain open post-covid, Golden Axe Throw Club’s home venue has relocated to W District at BTS Phra Khanong, for a minimum 2-year residency.

Starting October 1st, Golden Axe revives its popular nightlife activity of Axe, Knife & Ninja Star throwing at their brand new, intimate location inside W District, open daily 4PM – 12 AM.

They will offer public walk-ins as usual, with private parties & team building events available directly on their social media or website.

The Golden Axe Weekly League will also re-start on Thursday, October 8, 2020.

In tandem with their W District location, Golden Axe continues to offer their Mobile Axe Throwing Trailer on wheels, available anywhere in Bangkok or travelling as far as Pattaya to Phuket.

Owner & founder, Siriluk Nelson, stated recently “Golden Axe has plans to become a national brand across Thailand, opening mobile franchises & new locations in major tourist spots to rejuvenate tourism in Phuket, Chiang Mai, Pattaya & any establishments brave enough to host us”.

Golden Axe aims for multiple locations opening in 2021 offering their social activity, as well as partnering with concerts & festivals as they have previously at Gypsy Carnival, Wonderfruit 2020 & Thailand’s Craft Beer Festival, amongst many other Bangkok events.

Golden Axe Throw Club first introduced Thailand to the sport of competitive axe throwing in late 2016, starting their first venue in Lat Phrao, Bangkok. Since moving to Sukhumvit, they’ve gained in popularity amongst expats, tourists & locals.

In early 2020, Golden Axe was highlighted in a feature appearance on Netflix’s Twogether with International superstars Lee Seung-Gi & Jasper Liu. Since arriving in Bangkok, other cities in South-East Asia have opened Axe Throwing venues thanks to Golden Axe’s lead; Myanmar, Bali, Japan, China & Singapore have all taken aim at this unique concept.
