The Vagina Monologues 2016

At Check Inn 99 on 24th and 25th March there will be two performances of The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler – a thought provoking and highly controversial theatre production about women and girls around the globe. Awareness-raising pieces to demand a change or an end to violence against women and girls a push for gender equality.

You will laugh, you will cry, you’ll oooh and you’ll aaah.

And it’s all for a great cause.

90% of all proceeds will go to House of Refuge, a group of 4 homes in Chiang Rai that house 29 girls ages 6 and up who have been sexually abused, usually within their families and communities. They receive both physical and emotional healing and can continue with their education or learn a profession.

The remaining 10% will go to the V-Day Foundation that gives legal rights to perform this play.

Stand Up Comedy At Khaosan Comedy Club

With the government announcing today that entertainment venues can reopen on July 1, the team at the Khaosan Comedy Club are not messing about and have an event lined up for this Wednesday night.

It’s been over 100 days since their last shows and on Wednesday, they are ready to jump back in with the first night of comedy in Bangkok.

And it is FREE ENTRY too but seating will be limited.

First Show Back

Please take a face mask, and note they will be conducting temperature checks with social distancing and hygiene protocols in place.
