Car Hits Pedestrians In Samut Prakan

CCTV footage captured the horrifying moment a runaway car mounted a footpath and mowed down two women on Monday evening in Samut Prakan.

The clip is only five seconds long but will have you turning the air blue as the car suddenly appears and smashes through a group of people just going about their business.

Amazingly only two people were injured and no fatalities were reported by the EMTs in attendance. One woman suffered a head injury and the other a possible broken leg.

No explanation as to what caused the car to be out of control was available at the time of publishing.

Niam Ruampol, 70, visited the rental property in Samut Songkhram, central Thailand on Monday night after being told the resident had moved out.

He peered inside a newly built one-meter high concrete pool that was covered with plastic and recoiled with horror when he saw the killer reptile inside.

The frightened landlord called the animal catchers to evacuate the reptile from the property. They first threw a towel on its head to block its vision before wrestling with the beast and carrying it outside.

Air Pollution Before And After Lockdown

Video footage shows how clean the air is after three months of coronavirus lockdown in Bangkok.

The tropical skyline was clouded in a toxic smog made of harmful PM2.5 particles at the start of the year, caused by construction, cars and agricultural fires.

However, with many projects on hold and builders sent back home to neighbouring countries, pollution has dropped.

A blanket ban on tourists since the end of March – which is still active – has also decimated the number of cars, taxis, minivans and coaches on the road.

Astonishing footage taken this morning (June 30) in the Huai Khwang district of the capital shows the striking difference.
