Pattaya police are investigating a mass brawl at Pattaya restaurant on Wednesday night involving a group of Chinese tourists, Thais and foreign nationals.
Local media report the confrontation erupted after a Thai woman approached a table of Chinese tourists at a restaurant behind Lan Poe Market and asked them could they keep the noise down.
The tourists were displeased and the situation soon got heated and led to her being assaulted.
This resulted in Thais and other foreign nationals becoming involved and a mass brawl broke out with bottles and chairs used as weapons between the warring parties.
Police said the investigation is still ongoing.
