City Hall Announce BANGKOKSHUTDOWN

The Bangkok Governor has today ordered the closure of the following from Sunday 22nd to Sunday 12th April:

❌Shopping malls

❌Restaurants except for takeaway/delivery (hotel restaurants can only serve guests)

❌Spas, massage parlours, beauty salons, barbershops

❌Non-food markets

❌Swimming pools

❌Amusement centers and arcades

❌Skating and rollerblading rinks

❌Internet cafes

❌Pet salons

❌Golf courses and driving ranges

❌Tattoo shops

❌Cockfighting arenas

❌Weight-loss clinics

❌Amulet shops and markets

❌Conference and exhibition venues

❌At-home nanny and nursery services

During the #BANGKOKSHUTDOWN the following will remain open.

✅Supermarkets

✅Convenience stores

✅Pharmacies

✅Fresh food markets

Bars, pubs and clubs, schools and universities, gyms, and cinemas plus sports stadiums and arenas including horse racing were already closed in an announcement on Tuesday 17th Match, effective the following day Wed 18.

Punishment for anyone breaking this directive is a maximum 1-year jail term or a maximum fine of 100,000THB or both
