Dozens Of Foreign Workers Found In Massage Parlour Raid

On Friday afternoon police and military personnel raided a popular Bangkok massage parlour just off Rama 9 finding foreign workers believed to be the victims of human trafficking.

Officers from the DSI led the task force following a four month long investigation after a tip off from a former worker at the Victoria Massage Parlour, commonly known as Victoria’s Secret, that both foreign and underage workers were employed to sell sexual services.

Inside authorities found around 97 women available for customers with a further 16 women found in a locked room bringing the total to 113.

Thai media reported the vast majority were foreigners, with checks being carried out to verify the age of all those on the premises.

It is unknown if one of the ringleaders of the gang responsible for recruiting the women was arrested during the raid or not.
