Drunk Aussie Falls To His Death From Phuket Hotel

A drunk Australian man fell to his death at a hotel in Patong early Sunday morning as he tried to climb four floors to his room.

Daniel Jon Partridge, 33, was seen by an eyewitness climbing up the back of the C&N Hotel on Rat-U-Thit 200 Pi Rd around 2.15am.

As he climbed over a balcony, before slipping and falling on to a parked car four floors below.

EMTs rushed him to Patong Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Hotel staff told police he had been drinking heavily since checking in last week.

An autopsy will be carried out to confirm the cause of death and the relevant authorities notified.
