It’s alleged the four men were causing a disturbance in a fruit shop owned by 29-year-old Lertnatee Sriwichai at around 5am on Sunday morning. When the shop owner got out of bed to see what the noise was he found the four men drunk and dancing on tables in his store.

After his arrival and a bit of shouting the troublemakers left with Mr Lertnatee following close behind to see where they were going hoping to get the name of their hotel to file a complaint with police.

He told cops when the louts seen he was watching them they turned and attacked him.

During the attack a passerby intervened and he too was set upon by the gang. Both men were only saved from further injury when another group of locals came to help. At this point the drunks realised they were outnumbered and done a runner.

The four have been charged and await prosecution, according to Thai news reports.
