French Bank Robber Caught With Fake Passport At On Nut

A Frenchman was arrested on Friday night outside an On Nut condo for illegally entering Thailand five years ago with a fake passport, according to police.

Andre Espiasse Cabau, 35, was arrested by officers from Special Branch and Phra Khanong police station at around 11pm outside the Lumpini Ville on Sukhumvit Soi 77.

How officers knew to stop and search the former bank robber wasn’t disclosed but they soon discovered he had entered the country in 2010 using a fake French passport in the name of Andre Donatho.
