guinness shortage

If you are fond of a pint of Guinness to quench your thirst on a hot Bangkok afternoon you better enjoy it while it lasts as the ebony nectar is set to run dry in the months ahead.

A shipment of 50 kegs will arrive on Thai soil today and that’s the last Irish champagne being delivered until November.

The 50 kegs have already been snapped up by landlords who were also told there will be supply problems with Kilkenny too.

What has gone wrong in the supply chain is unknown with all sorts of theories being touted but the bottomline is, if you order a Guinness and Kilkenny in the weeks ahead, expext your service girl to reply with a mai mee.
