Head-On Train Collision In Ratchaburi Leaves At Least 30 Injured

At least 30 people were injured when two trains collided head-on at Pak Tho station in Ratchaburi province on Monday evening.

The Songkhla bound passenger train hit a cargo train head-on at around 6.40pm, with signal failure believed to be the cause of the crash.

At least 30 people were injured with Thai media reporting one train driver is in a serious condition.

The southern line has been temporarily closed while an investigation is carried out and the damaged trained removed and the tracks repaired.
