Iranian Arrested For Exchanging Fake Euros

An Iranian tourist was arrested at the weekend in Pattaya for exchanging a fake 500-Euro banknote at a local money booth.

Ali Ismaeli Hossanabadi, 39, had taken 17,540 baht for his funny money on the night of June 7. The cashier later noticed it was fake and filled a complaint with police.

Cops tracked down Hossanabadi using CCTV from the area and soon had him in cuffs. Down the station, he denied all saying he had no idea the money for counterfeit.

The boys in brown were having none of it and charged him with intentionally using a fake note.
