Lost Polish Tourists Rescued From Koh Phangan Forest

A Polish family who got lost in a forest on Koh Phangan were found safe and well on Monday night after a three-hour search by rescuers.

Tourist Police were alerted at 5.30pm by staff at the hotel where the family were staying after they called to say they’d gone for a walk in Ban Hat Rin forest and couldn’t find their way home.

A search team was dispatched and after hunting high and low for several hours the family were found tired but safe at around 9pm.

Tomasz Sliwinski, the father, thanked everyone for their efforts and help.
