Missing Brit Found Injured After Three Days

A British tourist who’d been missing for three days was found alive but not so well on Thursday afternoon after he’d fallen down rocks at a waterfall on Koh Samui.

Paul Gerrard Greenhalgh, 38, was found by police and rescue volunteers who started a search for him after locals close to Khun Si waterfall reported an abandoned motorbike to police.

A quick investigation led officers to believe the tourist who rented the bike to be missing in the jungle.

Greenhalgh was soon found exhausted and injured by the search party.

After a two hour trek by the rescue workers, he was taken by ambulance to the Thai International Hospital for treatment.

Police told reporters that the area is quiet and not on the usual tourist trail which is why the missing Brit wasn’t found sooner.

Updated 19 July: UK tabloids reporting today Mr Greenhalgh is better known as ex-Eastenders actor Paul Nicholls. He has also starred in Law & Order and has appeared in films including Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. Latest reports say he needs surgery on his leg and is still in a “serious” condition.
