monday 17 oct full moon party cancelled

Due to the passing of HM The King, the scheduled Full Moon party to be held at Haad Rin beach on Ko Pha Ngan this Monday has been cancelled.

Organisers informed those wishing to attend that a meeting was held with municipality officials who outlined the instructions from the Prime Minister about toning down entertainment events.

Due to the hedonistic nature of FMP events, FullMoonParty Thailand felt the only course of action was to cancel the event scheduled for Monday 17th October.

Officials said there could be “no stages along Haad Rin beach, no special entertainment arrangements, except for existing bars and hotels that can play music and serve alcohol as usual. But the atmosphere has to be toned down”.
