thai netflix launched

The world’s largest and most popular movie streaming service Netflix has officially launched in Thailand after it was announced at CES 2016 the company had expanded to 130 new countries.

Gone now are the days of needing to use a VPN to access the thousands of HD movies and TV series available 24/7 as you can sign up for one of the three packages offered here in Thailand.

Prices are pretty reasonable, ranging from 280-420 baht, depending on the number of screens you want use at the same time, with the first month free.

Netflix Thailand Goes Live

I don’t have an overseas account for Netflix to use here in Thailand, however, the signing up process was a breeze and took just a few minutes, including the jump to PayPal to confirm my billing subscription. You also have the option to pay by credit / debit card too.

After a quick browse around the website I did notice there are no Thai movies or TV dramas in the huge catalogue nor is there an option for Thai subtitles. Perhaps that is something for the future but for now, this hassle-free Netflix will do just fine.
