No Bar Closures On Friday 13th

Despite all the gossip and speculation over closures on the 1st anniversary of the late King’s passing, bars and clubs will be open and serving alcohol on Friday 13th October.

At the time of writing Nana Plaza management say they expect it to be business as usual all weekend. And it is the same story over on Patpong.

Down on Soi Cowboy they have been asked to turn the music down, dim the lights and have the girls outside in appropriate attire. With the main neon signs already switched off and the cat callers in black dresses there won’t be much difference to previous nights this past week.

UPDATE: Last Minute Booze Bans And Closure Notices Issued

Beer bars and live music venues may be more subdued than normal. Nightclubs I’d expect to be partying as normal although some of the late night clubs may remain closed tonight, Thursday, as 2am closing across the city is expected.

During the Royal Cremation it is expected ALL venues nationwide will be closed for a 3 day period, although this has yet to be confirmed by most police districts.
