Phuket Bar Owner Sentenced To Life For Killing Coyote Dancer

The owner of a Phuket bar was sentenced to life behind bars on Wednesday for the murder of a coyote dancer and her friend in Chonburi province last year.

Panya “Sia Auan” Yingdang was found guilty of murder last year for the slaying of Paveena Namuangrak, 20, and Anantachai Jaritrum, 21, outside a popular Pattaya tourist attraction in July 2018 after he became jealous of the young coyote dancer who rejected his advances.

Five others involved in the murder received sentences ranging from life to 24 years.

Both victims were killed in cold blood with shots to the head.

The court ordered the six guilty men to pay compensation of 7.31 million baht to Paweena’s family and 7.32 million baht to Anantachai’s family.
