A Russsian tourist died after jumping to his death from the fourth floor of Suvarnabhumi Airport in the early hours of Monday.
Mikhail Sinitsyn, 44, was caught on CCTV climbing on top of a phone booth to get over the high glass wall on the fourth floor.
The Russian, who had just landed in Bangkok on a flight from Vietnam, landed on the second floor of the terminal and was rushed to Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital.
Royal Thai Police deputy spokesman Pol Col Kritsana Patanacharoen said Mr Sinitsyn succumbed to his injuries and passed away around 4am.
The reasons for suicide were unknown but an investigation would be carried out. The Russian embassy were informed of the incident.
