A 38-year-old Swedish man died in the early hours of Wednesday following a fatal motorbike crash in Pattaya, according to police.

Emergency services were called Jomtien 2 Road just after midnight where they found the Swede, identified later as Tommy Nilson, laid in a pool of blood on the road.

Medics carried out emergency treatment at the scene before rushing him to hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time after arrival.
