Three Chinese Men Arrested For Illegally Running Like Farm

Three Chinese men were arrested by officers from Sa Kaew Immigration who believed they were operating an illegal call center, only to find out they were in fact running a ‘Like’ farm illegally.

Police and members of the military carried out the search of a townhouse in Aranyaprathet district following a tip off it was being rented by foreigners who hadn’t registered with authorities.

Three Chinese Men Arrested For Illegally Running Like Farm

500 iPhones and almost 5,000 SIM cards were found in one house shared by Wang Dong, 33 and Niu Bang, 25.

A further 5,000 SIM cards were found in a neighbouring property rented by 32-year-old Ni Wenjin.

During questioning they all denied running a call center but admitting to running a ‘Like’ farm selling social media shares and web page views.

All three now faces charges of working in the country illegally and tax evasion and have been detained at Aranyaprathet police station pending further legal proceedings.
