Two Americans Arrested In Pattaya For Bangkok Vandalism

Two Americans were arrested in Pattaya by Tourist Police in the early hours of Thursday after being identified as those caught on camera spray painting vehicles and buildings in Bangkok last month.

Both vandals, named as Mr Shelternberg, 28 and Miss Nicole Galen, 24, were brought back to Bangkok for questioning where they soon confessed telling police they were drunk.

The third man caught on camera has now left Thailand and will escape prosecution, unlike his two friends who will be charged and face a jail term of up to 3 years and/or a fine of up to 6,000 baht.

They will also have to pay damages of around 10,000 baht.

Once all legal proceedings have been compleated the Americans will be handed over to Immigration Police who will revoke their visas before blacklisting them ahead of deportation.
