Pattaya Ripoff Taxis Go To War Against Grab

Uber is gone, so now Pattaya taxi drivers are picking a fight with Grab taxis.

As they do, a group of price-gouging metered-cab drivers swarmed around a Grab car with a fight breaking out in the middle of the road.

Of course, the entire thing ended up on video and on the internet and police were forced to do their job and arrest both sides.

The cabbies vs. Grabbie fracas kicked off in front of a convenience store in South Pattaya where the private driver parked his Nissan March.

The cabbies surrounded his car with theirs and began berating him. One kicked and dented the Nissan, which caused Grabbie Tawatchai to get out and do something about it.

After fists started flying, cops stepped in. Ironically, Tawatchai was not working at the time and there were no passengers in the car. So the cabbies probably followed him from his last dropoff.

Grabcar technically is still illegal in Thailand, but positively certain to you get you a beating in Pattaya.
