‘Volunteer’ Ordered To Stop Spraying People At Victory Monument
A man who was spraying pedestrians over a five day period at Victory Monument has been ordered to stop by local officials on Thursday morning.
People believed the “volunteer” was a disease control officer employed by the Ratchathewi district office and queued up to be sprayed thinking it would help in stopping the spread of Covid-19.
District chief Rujira Arin said the man was confronted and ordered to stop adding when the man was questioned what he was spraying on people,he told then he did not know but it helped fight SARS and Bird Flu.

83 Pubs In Bangkok Shuttered Following Fire-Safety Inspections
83 pubs in the capital were temporarily shuttered on Saturday due to fire safety failings.
Following the fire at a Sattahip pub in the early hours of Friday morning that left 15 people dead, the Governor of Bangkok ordered inspections at entertainment venues across all 50 districts.
So far over 400 Bangkok venues have been inspected to ensure fire exits and escape routes are adequate and up to standard.
With tourists starting to return, the governor said it was important to step up safety measures.
Governor Chadchart has ordered further inspections in a bid to weed out entertainment venues operating illegally.
