Yet Another Walking Street Coming At Soi Rang Nam

The Bangkok governor announced that Soi Rang Nam close to Victory Monument will become the city’s next walking street starting mid-February.

Following in the footsteps of Silom Road, Yaowarat Road in Chinatown and Khaosan Road last month to kick off the new initiative of making busy roads pedestrian-only on certain days of the month to allow hawkers and food stall to entice locals and tourists.

Soi Rang Nam, located in Ratchathewi district, will close for the first time on February 15-16 from noon until 10pm.

Concerts and entertainment have been lined up with food and beverage stalls with more going on at the nearby Santiphap Park.
