Come Friday evening the moaners and groaners will be banging away furiously on their keyboards frothing at the mouth at the thought of a ban on booze sales all weekend.
It’s not something that affects me in any way and I don’t see what all the fuss is about.
We all know Thailand has a few dry days every year for religious holidays and the dates are widely published well in advance so why all the mumping and moaning?
Buy your booze in bulk in the days ahead of the restrictions, organise an orgy with some chrome pole crumpet, take a couple of days off the jungle juice and give your liver a holiday.
But that’s not the way it works.
The desperate will take to the forums and Facebook groups rattling on how bad it is for tourism, blah, blah, blah when we know what they really mean is they are desperate for a drink and in denial about their drinking problems.
Perhaps they should take the time to read up on how to deal with their alcoholism rather than bugging the rest of us with their ramblings.
