I’ve been to Mukdahan a few times but seen very little of the town or province as they were all flying visits as I made my way to Savannakhet over the border in Laos to visit the Thai COnsulate on visa business.
Mukdahan is a town and capital of Mukdahan Province, which became Thailand’s 73rd province in 1982. In the northern region of the country, on the right bank of the river Mekong, it was formerly a district of Nakhon Phanom Province. (Wikipedia)
This video shared on YouTube by a couple of expats living in that neck of the woods lets us see a little more of this sleepy province – I say a little more as the amker seemed to think viewers would like back of the head shots.
