Manic Street Preachers - Bangkok 1994

In 1994 the Manic Street Preachers played two sold-out shows at MBK Hall in Bangkok as part of their Gold Against The Soul World Tour.

The April gigs also featured a number of tracks from the bands forthcoming album The Holy Bible which was released some months later.

The Thai gigs are often remembered for all the wrong reasons as Richey Edwards appeared onstage on the second night with self-inflicted wounds across his chest after he cut himself just before the show with a set of knives gifted to him by a fan.

Edwards disappeared on 1st February 1995 and declared presumed deceased in November 2008.
