Since June 2020 anyone that has driven along South Pattaya Road, aka Pattaya Tai, has had to endure major construction work.

Extreme City Entertainment has followed the development of this construction project by documenting it from above.

They say perspective is everything and seeing it from above definitely provides a different view.

Six Awesome Plane Cafes Near Bangkok

Here are six of the best plane cafes in Bangkok or within an easy driving distance. These are not all of the plane cafes in Bangkok, or Thailand for that matter, as more keep appearing every month or two. But here’s a good variety.

They include a former U.S. Air Force plane has been made into a cafe at a gas station in Chachaongsao, on the way to Pattaya. A McDonnell Douglas MD-80 scrapped in 2019 is now a colourful eatery in Bangkok.

A retired Boeing 747 jumbo jet serves snacks and drinks in Bangkok. While a decommissioned Airbus A330 attracts visitors to Sattahip in Chonburi province .

Thai Airways used spare plane parts to open this restaurant serving hot meals at their HQ in Bangkok. And a cafe at the Chatuchak Weekend Market uses an old military plane.
