Dog Stops Car To Let Elderly Woman Cross Road

The heartwarming moment a dog stopped a car so an elderly woman could cross the road has won the hearts of the internet after being widely shared on social media.

The stray pooch blocked a vehicle which immediately stopped before an elderly woman who was seen walking slowly with a cane in Saraburi province.

The stray animal then ran back to the roadside when the old woman had finished crossing.

Driver Nirut Muangwong said: “At first, I was curious why the white car stopped then I saw the dog trying to protect the old woman. How sweet.”
