Campers chose the wrong day for a night in the outdoors, with powerful winds tearing up their tents in the hills of Petchabhun.
Suphachoke Thanachokesetthakul and his friends pitched up in Petchabhun on November last week but later that evening on the Pha Tat cliff, howling winds blew over their equipment and uprooted the tent pegs.
Suphachoke said: ”It was like a giant fan blowing our tents. There was no way to turn it off and it lasted all night until the next morning. We didn’t get any sleep.”
Fortunately, none of the campers were injured.
